Hello and welcome. I'm Odessa and I'm a London based integrative transpersonal and somatic therapist, with over 15 years' experience working therapeutically with individuals, groups and teams. I am a registered member of the BACP, and a qualified yoga teacher, bodyworker, coach and trainer.

I offer brief and longer-term therapy, and am open to working with whatever you bring. I practice in person from central London (W1G), Queens Park (NW6), West Hampstead (NW6) and Willesden Green (NW2), as well as online.

I provide integrative counselling to help with a range of emotional and psychological issues, and have a special interest in working with:

  • Shame

  • Anxiety

  • PTSD

  • Early childhood trauma/C-PTSD

  • Life transitions (including those related to midlife)

  • Loss of meaning and purpose

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Identity crises

  • Tensions resulting from navigating different cultural influences and/or mixed heritage

  • Grief (including grief about the state of the world we are living in)

  • Pain and anger due to experiences of social disapproval and discrimination

  • Making meaning of, and integrating, psychedelic and non-ordinary experiences

I also work with the body to help people recover from chronic stress, mood swings and burnout through a range of approaches that are known to relax the mind and body by sending signals of safety to the amygdala (the brain’s threat centre). My approach to somatic therapy is aligned with polyvagal theory and influenced by the work of Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Resmaa Menakem and Bessel van der Kolk.

Blending professional training, clinical and life experience, I provide a calm, warm, confidential space where you can take some time out and be supported to find ways of living more comfortably within yourself and the wider world.

My stance is vehemently anti-discriminatory and I welcome people of all ethnicities, beliefs, gender identities, sexual orientations, body types, abilities and backgrounds in my practice.

You can view my qualifications and practicalities pages for more details about how I work.

If you think we might be a good fit, contact me and we can arrange an initial 20-minute phone or video call consultation which is free of charge.

In addition to one-to-one therapeutic work, I offer training, coaching and group facilitation around subject matters relating to workplace wellbeing, leadership, interpersonal communication and recovery from substance use.

If you would like to speak about this, please get in touch.
